THE MILDLIFE SHOW
Mau Mau has been active in the Street Art movement for 20 years, disrupting culture in the face of corporate giants and world governments.
Having worked with the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Surfers Against Sewage and Greenpeace, Mau Mau’s art has gained recognition on the streets and in galleries across the globe, developing a cult following of fans and collectors.
Mau Mau's aesthetic search is motivated by a belief in justice and unity. His work stands as a bold statement amidst the social and political confusion of the modern age.
The mixed media Mildlife Show follows in that tradition, based around a rolling series of 30-second to 2-minute animated sketches. These satirical shorts are informed by current world news, speaking volumes about our political, social and celebrity culture.
See Donald Trump, Boris Johnson and Kanye West as you’ve never seen them before, alongside Mau Mau’s iconic Fox and a host of Animal Farm inspired characters.
Prepare to be challenged, entertained and affirmed in equal measure by an iconic artist who doesn’t pull his punches.
The Mildlife Show will run from May 4th to May 24th in the Bozboz Gallery, 30 Richmond Place, Brighton. The exhibition is open for public viewings on Wednesdays-Saturdays, 10AM to 4PM.
